Born in Fukushima Prefecture, 1928. Enter the Buddhist priesthood at age 10. Graduated from Taisho University with degree of graduate (doctoral program), majored in Tendai-study. Filled important posts at Sengakuin (Sendai), Shojokouin (Sendai), Daifukuji (Fukushima) He settles Tendai Mission of Hawaii by himself and posted as the representative currently and propagates Tendai-shu overseas. Besides of these, he established The Art Institute of Hawaii and Japanese Language Institute of Hawaii for introducing Japanese culture to American Society. By introducing his unique way of the painting, he has exhibited his painting of Buddha in San Francisco, Boston and New York as well as exhibitions in Japan yearly.
